MOSCOW, Aug 17 (PRIME) -- An explosion occurred on a deposit of Russian gas producer Novatek on the Yamal Peninsula, five workers were injured, a representative for the emergency services told PRIME on Tuesday.
"During repairs on an empty reservoir on the Yarudeiskoye oil and gas condensate deposit in Nadym owned by Novatek, the gas-air mixture blasted without fire. Five workers were injured and took to hospital," the official said.
